The Queens For DA Accountability coalition hosted a forum at CUNY Law on Tuesday

Jennifer Orellana, a transgender girl and previous intercourse worker from Jackson Heights, asked six associated with seven announced prospects for Queens District Attorney to simplify their place in the decriminalization of sex work — an increasingly traditional topic — at a packed forum at CUNY Law class Tuesday night. Prospects’ responses ranged: from the willingness to take into account the matter, up to a call for restricted prosecution and diversion options, to support that is full-throated full decriminalization.

“My real question is,” Orellana said in Spanish, “what is the place regarding the decriminalization that is full of work, including refusing to offer costs to prosecute sex employees, consumers, family relations, couples and landlords whom offer solutions and care of sex employees?”
